The school

MADE School is a post-diploma course in Reception Management and Food and Wine Disciplines offered by Fondazione Campus in collaboration with Fondazione Palazzo Boccella, and dedicated to the training of the three main professional figures in the field of hospitality: waiter, kitchen worker and event – catering organizer.

The course is intended for holders of a high school diploma, professionals or people interested in the sector, wishing to receive training in the fields of reception and food and wine, and then have fast access to the labour market.

Enrolment is not subject to specific requirements linked to the kind of school previously attended. Students with no previous kitchen experience will have the possibility to attend basic preparatory lessons, so that all class members will reach a common level of knowledge.

The course includes 6 months of taught lessons – given by university teachers, professionals in the field of hospitality and company managers – and a 400-hour curricular internship in Italy or abroad.

The School follows the model of American colleges: during the course period, students will experience community life in the School’s same building – Palazzo Boccella, a historic residence of the 16th century recently renovated and now offering all the comforts and services linked to new technologies.

The residential formula of the course is the result of a specific educational choice, aimed at providing participants an excellent theoretical and practical training and at facilitating their professional and personal growth through community life with peers: more than a study experience, this is a life experience.
